PARISH OFFICE OPENING HOURS

The Parish Office is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (save the third Thursday in every month) between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.00 pm and on Friday between the hours of 9.00 am and 2.00 p.m.

ASFORDBY YOUTH SHELTER PROJECT

Following discussions with the young people of the parish and representatives of Leicestershire County Council, Melton Borough Council, Leicestershire Constabulary and the Parish Council a youth shelter has now been chosen.

The intended installation date is Friday 27 June 2008.

The Youth Shelter will be located behind the Parish Hall near the skate ramp.

The shelter does have the benefit of bluetooth which the young people should find useful.

The organisations involved in helping to ensure this project's completion are all hoping that the young people of Asfordby Parish will use this shelter in an appropriate way and that they deter others from vandalism or any other kind of abuse.
